In
an atmosphere charged with Her inspiration, the Supreme Master Ching
Hai finished this painting in a single session. On that day, Master
was so absorbed in the creation of this painting that She forgot to
eat Her lunch and was not even aware that some fellow initiates who
had come to visit Her had left.
The
original scene that the Supreme Master Ching Hai took Her inspiration
from was quite plain. However, through Her rich imagination, She has
created a very lively scene. She painted the tree leaves in an especially
vivid way. Also, the original background was an unattractive cliff
which did not do justice to the beauty of the trees and the carpet
of flowers. Therefore, Master transformed its appearance to better
fit the entire picture. The colors She used were made from a mixture
of paints left over from Her other paintings.
