After
the seven-day retreat in Costa Rica, the Supreme Master Ching Hai
was cordially invited to visit Panama by a sincere seeker of the Truth.
On the slope of a hillside forest belonging to the host, there was
a small but strong tree full of flowers which grows in the middle
of the slanted hill, among rocks and thorny bushes.
The
Supreme Master uses this tree as the main character which symbolizes
our strong will to develop in spiritual progress despite unfavorable
surroundings.
