The song of the little bird
Is like a sad lament,
Crying out for compassion
In the face of so much suffering.

That celestial song
Evokes such yearning
That I should reach the highest peak,
Where your Excellency is residing.

You've come from the East
To show us the Way
So that we won't have
to ever return To this miserly world.

Blessed is Master
For the forbearance God has granted Her;
Trusting, I now wait
For my journey's end.
