If everyone truly practices what the Bible or the Buddhist Sutra teaches, they will never quarrel with each other, and all religions will be happy with each other and celebrate in the same church. The Pope will come to the temple, the monks will go to the church, and there will be no problems. There’s only
one religion — that is the religion of God, of love, of
understanding. There’s only one church, one temple — that
is the temple of enlightenment. Come to that temple, and then
we will know all religions of the world. From
“Rise to the Realm of Enlightenment Together” When we call God by different names it is all right. You may call your wife “my darling,” “my apple pie,” “my sugar candy” or “honey pie,” whatever you want. Similarly, we have to allow people of different mentalities and different preferences to call God by different names. It is so logical. I’m so surprised that most people don’t understand this and fight over the names. It’s okay if you call your wife “cookie” and if the neighbor calls his wife “apple pie”. It’s the same thing. If we call God by the name of Allah, Jehovah, the highest Buddha Nature, the Anuttara-Samyak-Sambodha, the Almighty, the Beloved, the Father, the Mother, the Creator, God or anything else. What does it matter? Therefore
many people think that I preach many religions at once. No, no.
I only preach one — the religion of Truth, the religion
of wisdom, the religion of love. From
“Practicing Makes The World More Civilized” The church, the outside church, mosque, and temple, are symbols of the kingdom of God within us, which are built to remind us of our own temple, of which Jesus said, Know you not that you are the temple of God and the Holy Spirit lives within you. I think that the church and the temple are very
holy, sacred symbols of our devotion to God. Every time we pass
through a church, a mosque, or the temple of any religion, we
should truly remind ourselves of the reverence we have for these
symbols of worship. It probably would be better if the people
who come to these temples, churches or mosques truly could find
their God within, within their temples also, not only in the brick
temple but also in the true temple of God. From
“The True Meaning of Church, Mosque, Temple and Pyramid” Q: Based on whose guidance do you practice? How do we name your religion? M:
I said to you that I have no religion. What I mean is every
religion is my religion. I respect all religions, because
every religion teaches people to do good things, to be good
to each other, and to be kind to all beings. If any people
who belong to any religion do the opposite, then that is their
personal responsibility, not the responsibility of the religion,
or the religious founder. So we can not say that any religion
is no good. We can only say that some people who follow such
and such religion do not understand that religion, and they
do something opposite. Okay. So, any of your religions is
my religion. I only tell you to remind you of the goodness
of your religion, and to tell you to believe more in your
God, your Buddha, your Tao, whatever you believe in. But,
you must know what you believe in. You should get in contact
with that power that you believe in. If you haven’t
gotten in contact with that power, that Christ power, that
God power, that Buddha power, then I can help you, that’s
all. If you practice the Quan Yin Method you can get in touch
with Jesus, with Buddha, with Mohammed, with Allah, with whomever
you believe in. Because this is the way to everywhere. Understand
that? Just like you get on the highway, you can go very quickly.
You can go to different places from this highway, but this
is the fast way to go. From
“The Key of Immediate Enlightenment - Questions and Answers
1” I
do not tell you to change your religious beliefs, occupation,
or way of life, but just to know the Truth. Because the Truth
is inherent in all underlying religious principles. From
