Report
from Armenia From May 15 to 16, 1999 Master Ching
Hai was in Armenia during Her European lecture tour, and contributed
a total of US$250,000 to various Armenian charitable organizations
and city governors. Among the beneficiaries, Gjumry, one of the
Armenian cities devastated by the 1988 earthquake, received US$100,000
from Master for restoration work. In appreciation of Supreme Master
Ching Hai's widespread benevolent work in Gjumry, and as a sign
of good fellowship among nations, the Basic Pedagogical High School
of Gjumry was renamed The Supreme Master Ching Hai High School of
Gjumry.
